Frequently asked Questions
1. I need the item ASAP, do you have stock?
No, we do not keep stock on hand. All items are ordered in from the USA once your order has been placed and paid for. Delivery options are provided during the checkout process, but generally take between 7-25 working days.
2. I need a quotation please?
Quotations are easy, browse to the product you are interested in and click "Add to Cart". Click "Checkout" and follow the process from there. The system will give you the option to generate a no-obligation quote.
3. What are your shipping costs?
We charge R69.00 for Major Centre delivery, and R115 for Regional Area's - all fully insured.
4. I do not have a Credit Card, can I still purchase from you?
Yes, of course - we have a number of payment options. We even accept debit cards. More information can be found here
5. Do your prices include VAT/Duties?
Yes, the price listed on the website would be the final price - including shipping from the USA, Customs and Duties, VAT and our agent clearing fee's. No hidden surprises.
6. How do I know if buying from you is safe?
eBuyer was taken over by NGR Computers and is now a sister store to NGR Computers. NGR Computers is one of SA's most well-known and longest running online PC stores. We have been in business since 2003, and have shipped hundreds of thousands of orders between the two stores. We do not store or save any of your credit card information, so purchasing from us is perfectly safe.
7. What do you mean by "Working Days"?
Working days are Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are excluded.
8. I would like to collect from you?
No, as we are an online only store - we do not have a collection option. Due to the nature and value of the items we process daily, security is a concern. All orders are delivered to our customers via courier at excellent shipping rates, often much cheaper than it would cost to drive through to us.
9. Do your suppliers have stock?
With quite literally tens of millions of products on offer, keeping track of all the items is a challenge. Generally speaking though, if the item is listed on the website we should definitely have stock. Our feed is pulled from the USA in real time, so if it is listed on our site, we should not have any problems importing it for you.
10. What guarantee do I have that you are going to deliver my order?
We offer a 100% guarantee we will deliver your order to you once the order has been confirmed. If for some reason you don't receive your order, we will replace it at our cost.
11. My order has been 'In Customs' for a long time, why?
Customs reserves the right to detain any shipment for inspection for up to 20 working days. We do query all shipments daily and we have a team dedicated to releasing the shipments as soon as possible. Depending on how busy customs is and how under staffed they are, will determine how long the shipment stays in customs. While this is frustrating it is a common occurrence and we do try and push orders through customs as quickly as possible.
12. You have some strange items listed, can you import it for me?
Generally speaking, anything listed on our website can be imported. With millions of products listed though, some do slip through which we do try and remove accordingly. Restricted items include Antiques, Coffee, Cotton seed, Prescription & Non-Prescription Drugs, Grain samples, Personal Effects, Ship spares, Shoes, Tea, Textile articles, Tobacco and certain Weapons and Accessories.

As with most of the big e-commerce websites, e-mail and live help is our main forms of communication with our customers - and is the quickest. Our general e-mail response time is less than 15 minutes. If you would like our contact number though, please send us an e-mail and we will forward it through to you with pleasure - we do not have anything to hide.
All queries via email can be answered to a higher
quality level than telephone calls, as the support consultants may need to look up information on your order and may therefore require a bit of time to resolve your query.
